14–15 March 2026: Finnish Junior Kendo Championships, Kangasala

21–22 March 2026: National Team Training Camp, Pori

12 April 2026: Women’s Training Session, Turku
A free four-hour training session for women at 12:00–16:00, instructed by Heini Korhonen, kendo 7th dan renshi. If you require accommodation or further information, please contact Anne Rähmönen, +358 40 937 0738. The venue is the A-hall of Aninkainen School Building. Changing rooms and showers are available; restaurant arrangements will be confirmed closer to the event.

18–19 April 2026: National Team Training Camp, Helsinki

1–3 May 2026: Junior Competition Trip, Ko Jika Cup, Belgium
The tournament is the largest kendo competition in Europe solely for juniors, and we have participated for several consecutive years. 8–10 May 2026: Kyu Training Seminar, Kangasala
The Finnish National Kendo Team and the Finnish Kendo Association, together with Tampere Kendo Club Fudo Kamae, invite all kyu-level practitioners to a training seminar on 8–10 May. The seminar is instructed by members and coaches of the national team. Training takes place in level-based groups, covering both fundamentals and more demanding exercises. All kendo practitioners aged 15 and over are welcome, regardless of level. Spring beginner course participants are warmly encouraged to join, learn more and meet new training partners! 22–24 May 2026: Vaasa Kendo Club Seminar, Vaasa

16–19 July 2026: Pori Jazz Kendo Seminar, Pori
The traditional summer seminar will be organised for the 35th time! The seminar is open to all kendo practitioners and all levels – including those training without bogu. Graduations for 6th–1st kyu and 1st–4th dan will take place at the end of the seminar. Instructors: Claude Pruvost, kendo 7th dan kyoshi, together with top Finnish instructors of 7th and 6th dan. 28–30 August 2026: Rendaino 40th Anniversary Seminar, Turku
Rendaino’s 40th Anniversary Seminar with Miyasaka-sensei and Tatsumi-sensei. Venue: Kupittaa Ball Hall. Extra training sessions with the senseis are expected on Thursday 27 August 2026 at 18:00–20:00 and on Monday 31 August 2026 at 18:00–20:00.
